    The best time of year for surfing Agnes Waters with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is during Winter and most often the month of June. You'll find surfable waves during more than half of your stay, unless you're a beginner, then you'll find that it's almost always surfs up at 1770.     Discover the beauty of Joseph Banks Conservation Park on this bush walking adventure. Throughout the autumn and winter months, you will notice the magnificent blue tiger butterflies as they flock to the Town of 1770 during their migration. The walk starts at the Captain Cook Monument, taking you along the shoreline of Round Hill Creek for approximately 1.2 kilometres. The track leads to the 1770 Headland which offers spectacular views overlooking Bustard Bay.

For a more romantic experience, head down at dusk to watch the sun set over the ocean.
